Consumer Choice
We believe that we can use competitive small business practices to eradicate hunger in any community. If consumers base their choice of products or services on the knowledge that a portion of the proceeds will be used to feed a hungry San Diegan, we will stimulate businesses to compete and attract consumers as a result of this socially responsible practice.
Our services are inclusive of supporting (donating to) local San Diego county organizations that will directly feed people in the form of a meal and also, hosting activities and events that will result in directly feeding people.
Mealbucks= $3.00 to Feed a Local Hungry Person
The currency for donations is "mealbucks". Mealbucks = $3.00 per meal to feed a local San Diego resident. Meals4Hunger will promote participating businesses in our marketing communications, website and other media exposures. Additionally, when businesses purchase mealbucks, they have the opportunity to promote their business through using the Meals4Hunger partner logo.
